About TattooInn

Finding a tattoo artist should not mean scrolling Instagram and sending a dozen messages that start with how much for a small one. Most directories are city lists with pound signs for prices, and the marketplaces that do take bookings keep a slice of the artist's own work, sometimes a fee on the client too.

TattooInn is built for both sides of the chair. Clients can search by style and place, see a real price and a real next opening, and look at healed photos and a checked council registration before they ask. Artists get a request inbox, a quote builder, deposits and consent forms in one place, and keep their own regulars at no charge, forever.

We are here to be useful to artists, to their clients and to the wider tattoo community. If a feature does not help one of those three, we do not build it. If you think we have got something wrong, tell us on the contact page.

How we use AI

We do not make tattoo designs with AI, and we never will. Every design for sale and every portfolio photo on TattooInn comes from a tattoo artist.

We never train AI on artists' work or on clients' photos, and we do not sell them to anyone who does.

Where we use AI, it does admin, not art. When an artist asks, it reads their own website to fill in their profile, and the artist checks every field before anything goes live.

In the tattoo ideas library, AI writes the image descriptions and the short stories, which are labelled as fiction, and enlarges some small photos, which say so under the image.
