Burger and script tattoos on arms
Lettering · Forearm · Mixed · Photo
A person wearing a blue ringer t-shirt with embroidered cherries shows tattoos on the arms, cropped below the face. A burger with red, green and tan filling sits on the left forearm, with script lettering above it on the upper arm and further linework below. A small tattoo is also visible on the lower right arm. Colour ink is prominent in the burger, while other areas are shaded in black and grey.

The lads from the seventh floor came down on Tuesday asking for the burger with the green stuff, the one you made up the summer the lift broke. I told them there's no green stuff, only relish and a bit of cress and a rule about onions that you broke every Saturday. They didn't believe me. Nobody believes a recipe is just cress.
Mrs Okafor brought back your old Tupperware on Thursday with the lid taped down. Inside was a note in her granddaughter's handwriting asking whether you were still in Leeds. I didn't know what to say, so I wrote your address on the back of a bus timetable and pinned it in the hatch window beside the sign that says we're closed Mondays.
I've put the spare key in with this. Come up when you can, even if it's only for the weekend. Enclosed is one burger in foil, cold now, which is how you always said it was best. Eat it standing up, the way you used to, and think about the onions. Love, Mum.
