Gold sacred geometry on an upper arm
Geometric · Upper arm · Colour · Photo
Three stacked sacred geometry motifs sit on the upper arm: a Flower of Life pattern at the top, overlapping circles around a vesica piscis in the middle, and Metatron's cube at the bottom. The fine gold linework is shown as a metallic foil on warm brown skin against a plain light background, with the wearer's shoulder and braided hair visible and no face shown. The design is centred on the upper arm and fills most of the frame.

The snow had been falling on Carrow Hollow for nine days when the surveyor's widow came down the inn stairs with a pair of brass compasses in her apron pocket and asked Mrs Pell for a candle and the clean end of the long table. Nobody else was awake. The fire had burned down to a red eye, and the two carters who had come in off the moor were snoring under their coats by the hearth.

She drew a ring first, a single careful circle, then set the point of the compass on its edge and drew another, so that the two rings overlapped like a pair of coins pushed together. In the narrow lens where they met she drew a line from tip to tip. "That is the door," she said, "where two rooms share one wall and nobody has to choose which one they are standing in." Mrs Pell, who had kept the inn forty years and never once thought about walls, pulled her shawl tighter and watched the pencil move.
Then the widow kept going. She added a ring around the rings, then six more around that, until the table was a flower of overlapping petals, and then she drew thirteen small circles inside a cube and joined them with straight lines until the paper looked like a net for catching something. "My husband taught me this," she said. "He said if you could draw the whole of it without lifting the pencil, the road would open."
Morning came hard and bright. The carters found the lane under six feet of drift, but when they dug out the door they saw a ring cut clean through the snow, as if someone had walked a perfect circle round the inn, and in the middle of it the widow's footprints, going out and not coming back.
