Outline stars across the ribs
Ribs · Black and grey · Photo
A close view of a torso lying on a patterned purple blanket in bright sunlight. Several black outline stars of different sizes run across the side of the ribs and the waist, with a small navel piercing visible. The bikini top is covered in sparkling embellishments in pink, green and silver tones, which contrast with the plain black ink.

Nell watched them move, the big one landing on the driver's cab, the small one skipping over the coupling. Mr Hollis read it differently. He said the stars had been pointing the whole time, and that the train had only ever needed someone to draw the way out.
