Recycling symbol and phrase at the nape
Geometric · Neck · Black and grey · Photo
The photograph shows the back of a woman's neck with her hair in a ponytail, and a black tattoo sits just below the hairline. It combines an angular three-arrow recycling symbol built from geometric shapes with the words Please Use Me Again in a plain sans-serif font beneath it. The ink is solid black on the skin, and the framing is close and centred on the tattoo against a neutral indoor background.

Dilys had the last crate of the night half unloaded when the cardboard tag on the third bottle caught her eye, and she sighed loudly enough for Mr Okafor in the next bay to look up from his forklift.

"Not another one with a poem on it," he said.
It was a brown glass cordial bottle with a wire-fastened stopper, and someone had written on the tag in biro: Please use me again. Beneath the words, a little triangle of arrows had been drawn with a ruler, the lines wobbling where the pen had slipped. Dilys had seen plenty of messages in her eleven years at the Penhallow depot. Most were about refunds. Some were about the cat that had got into the crate. This one she turned over twice before deciding it was meant kindly.
She thought about the bottle's journey: the dairy, the van, the wash, the sorting belt, and now her own hands. She decided it would go back to the farm on Thursday, so she threaded the tag onto its neck with a green cable tie so it wouldn't slip off.
On Thursday the crates went out and the bottles rattled over the hill road. Dilys never learned what the dairyman made of the tag. But that autumn the same bottle came back through the depot, scuffed and sticky, and the biro had been gone over in a steadier hand beneath the old words: Yes.
