A branch of cherry blossoms with pink petals, dark buds and fine black stems runs diagonally from the upper side of the torso down towards the hip. The petals are filled with soft pink shading and loose grey washes sit behind the flowers, with splashes of black ink along the branch. The composition is open and asymmetric, with the largest blossoms clustered near the lower half of the design.

I thought of you straight away. I left it where it was. I didn't have the heart to wipe it.
