Joker and Batman leg sleeve
Realism · Thigh · Black and grey · Photo
The tattoo covers the leg from thigh to calf in two panels: a large Joker face with a wide grin on the front of the thigh, and a Batman figure with a bat symbol on the outer side. Smaller figures and shadowed details fill the gaps down the lower leg. The work uses detailed black and grey shading with smooth tonal gradients and strong contrast, and the photos are taken against a wooden wall on a grey floor.

Hang the lantern higher, Tam, so the lads at the back can see my hands. Aye, that's it. Now listen, because this is the night the snow came over Harrow Pass and shut the road, the same winter the grinning man walked into the Hollin Arms with his face painted white as a dead moon.

He had a mouth stretched from ear to ear, red as a butcher's apron, and he ordered three sherries and a pork pie and paid for none of it. Mistress Ruddock said nothing. She had seen men like him before. Then the lamp by the stair guttered out, and when it flared back, a shadow sat in the corner chair where no shadow had been, a tall figure with ears like a pair of black spires and a chest that caught the firelight like armour.
They did not speak for an hour. The grinning man laughed at the wind, and the shadow listened. Then the grinner stood, hummed a little tune, and tipped a card across the table: the queen of hearts, with one corner bent.
Here is the turn, mark it well. The shadow picked up the card and, turning it over, found on its back a small bat drawn in ink, and beneath it, in a neat hand, the words 'Tomorrow, the snow will stop.' When morning broke, the grinning man was gone, the road was clear, and the card lay on the hearth. Mistress Ruddock still keeps it in the till. Mind you, nobody has ever seen it leave.
