Pocket watch tattoo on a forearm

Forearm · Colour · Photo

A woman with long dark hair holds the brim of a light blue denim cap embroidered with the word babe and a pair of eyelashes, with her face hidden. A tattoo of a pocket watch with a lettered banner sits on her inner wrist and forearm, with a small line design on one finger. The clock face and banner show red, yellow and green accents against the skin, set against a soft grey blurred background.

She set the watch back in its velvet tray, wound it once, and listened to it tick steady in the empty shop. Then she took her coat from the hook, left the door unlatched, and walked down to the slip to wait for the boat.
