Script quote on a forearm
Fine line · Forearm · Black and grey · Photo
A single line of fine black script reads 'Open your mind, its beautiful inside' and runs diagonally along the inner forearm. The strokes are thin and even, with the letters joined in a flowing handwritten style. The skin is pale and the background is dark brown leather, so the black ink stands out clearly.

Then he ate the broth.
Tobin went on to run a chippy in Grimsby and never once wrote to her. But the next spring a parcel arrived at the galley hatch with a tin of Scottish shortbread and a card that read, in careful capitals, THE INSIDE IS STILL THERE. Mags kept the card in her breast pocket until the ink ran in the rain. She never told the new lad that part.
