Anchor and infinity with script quote
Lettering · Black and grey · Photo
A black anchor is intertwined with an infinity symbol, with its shank and flukes overlapping the looped curve. Beneath it, the phrase I refuse to sink is written in a flowing black script with clean, even linework. The design is shown in close crop against a warm skin tone, with no other body features visible.

The rusted anchor Dad dragged out of the shingle is lying in the nave now, its flukes eating a slow hole through the flagstones. Your collier is due in Blyth on the twelfth. Come up the coast road and bring the good rope. We'll tie the anchor to the gatehouse door and let the sea argue with it all it likes. Tell the lads I refuse to sink. It's your turn to make the bench.
