Don't worry script lettering design
Lettering · Black and grey · Flash
A handwritten script phrase, don't worry, is drawn in pale white linework across the centre of the image. A long thin horizontal line runs from the left edge to the right edge and links into the lettering. The textured black background gives the design a chalk-like, monochrome look.

The Tuesday the boiler gave up, Miss Ferris stood at the blackboard with the chalk still warm in her fist and wrote the words the way her mother had written them on the back of every shopping list. Down the long line she drew, the one that ran wall to wall like a clothesline, and then she looped the letters onto it so they seemed to hang there, easy as washing. By the Friday the coal lorry had not come and the lunch queue had shrunk to nine. Ferris went round the desks with a tin of biscuits and a scrap of cloth, wiping pencil lead from thumbs. Ruth Pardoe, who was eight and kept a notebook of other people's worries, said she didn't think the words were true. Ferris told her that was fair. She said she had written them anyway, because a line can be drawn before anybody knows where it leads.
When the thaw came, the caretaker rubbed the board clean with a wet rag, but he could not get the line out of the slate. Grey ghosts of it stayed on the black, faint as breath on a window, and the children said that was the best bit of the whole winter.
