Hogwarts castle and steam train sleeve
Upper arm · Mixed · Photo
The tattoo covers the upper arm and shoulder with a castle on a hill under a coloured sky with dragons, and a snowy owl sits at the left edge. A red steam train runs across the middle of the design, with a letter in the lower centre and a hippogriff in greyscale at the bottom. The fine shading is detailed and smooth, with the sky and train in colour and the animals and stonework in black and grey.

Now the thing was in her hand. The paper smelled of cedar and cold stone. Beneath the slanted ink of his name, someone had written a line she had to read twice: The scarlet train departs from the edge of the wood at dusk, and the path will carry you to the third bridge.
She walked out past the last cottage as the light went, where the trees began and the track turned soft with needles. The red train was already waiting on its rails at the verge, steam curling up through the branches like smoke from a forge. A grey beast with feathered wings stood beside the carriages, watching her with eyes like polished coins, and it lowered its head as if she were expected.
She had brought nothing but the letter and a heel of bread for the journey. At the carriage door a conductor with a face as pale as candle wax took the paper, read it, and sighed. "Aldo's sister," he said. "He always said you'd come asking for the wrong train." He stamped her ticket with a red ring, and she climbed aboard as the castle lamps swung on the hill above her like a lantern held out in the dark.
