Jack Daniel's bottle with purple smoke on thigh

Realism · Thigh · Colour · Photo

A large tattoo of a Jack Daniel's whiskey bottle, with its black label and amber liquid rendered in detail, sits upright on the outer thigh. Soft purple smoke curls up behind the bottle, and the shading gives the glass a reflective, three-dimensional look. The bottle fills most of the frame against a blurred background of floral shorts.

Dear Mags,

You'll not believe the week we've had. The big wheel seized on Tuesday at Stowmarket and Dinny spent four hours under the axle with a spanner and a bottle of something brown he swears by. He offered me a swig at half past eleven and I told him I'd have one when the lights were off and the last kid had gone home sick. So that's what I'm doing now, sat on the step of the caravan with the generator ticking and a tumbler of the stuff going warm in my hand.

The smoke is from the coconut shy. Ray keeps a tin ashtray on the counter and the wind off the field blows it straight across the prizes. You remember the blue plush bear with one eye? It's still up on the top shelf. Nobody has knocked it off in nine days, and I've started to think it's the only thing on the whole ground that's going to stay put.

Dinny says we move on Saturday to Clacton. I said good, because I want to see the sea before the summer goes. He said the sea will still be there when we get there, which is the most Dinny thing anyone has ever said.

I'll post this from the next town. Keep the good biscuits for when I'm home. Love, Char.
