Mrs Okafor from flat fourteen has finally stopped complaining about the pigeons, so I'm writing while the lift works, which is a small miracle in itself. The harbour map you left is still pinned above your bed. I dust it on Fridays. Every night I stand at the kitchen window and count the lights of the ships out past the estuary, and sometimes one of them blinks twice, which I have decided is you.
