Upper arm · Black and grey · Photo

A black and white photograph of a person seen from behind, with short cropped hair and a plain black t-shirt. The tattoo on the visible arm covers the upper arm and extends down towards the elbow, with dark shaded floral and leaf elements. The plain backdrop keeps the focus on the arm.

At ten past four a man stopped at the stall with his hands jammed in his coat pockets and asked for something that would live in a tin on a windowsill with no sun. She pushed it back across the wood and said the fern had waited long enough for someone to want it, which was true of most things on that shelf.
