Espeon and Umbreon shoulder tattoos
Shoulder · Mixed · Photo
Two people stand side by side, photographed from behind in a dimly lit room. The left shoulder carries a small Espeon in muted lavender and pink with soft outlines and a forked tail, while the right shoulder shows an Umbreon in dark grey with yellow rings and ear markings. The shading is soft and simple, and the two designs are placed close together in the centre of the frame.

The toll bridge at Harrow Lock had two cats, and the lock-keeper's widow, Mrs Pell, swore they had never once been in the same place at the same hour. Morrow was the lilac one, with a tail split at the tip like a fork in a rope, and she took the sun on the coping stones from breakfast until St Ann's rang five. Dusk was the grey one, with yellow rings on his legs that caught the lamplight, and he came down off the lock gates once the lamplighter had walked the towpath.

The bargees argued about them in the Swan. Ned Carrow, who had worked the Thames barges before the canals were dredged, said a pair like that was a bad sign on any river, one minding the water while the other minded the banks. Nobody believed him until the March flood, the week the barge Lantern Girl tore loose from her moorings above the weir. Morrow was on the parapet at noon, calling the crew's attention, and Dusk was on the gate at midnight, hauling the spare rope through the sluice. Between them they had the boat secured before the water reached the second arch.
Afterwards Mrs Pell found the two of them asleep on the same dry flag, nose to nose, the grey one's tail wound round the lilac one's. She said nothing about it in the Swan. She simply stopped locking the gate at dusk and left a saucer of milk out at either end of the day.
By morning both saucers were empty, and the towpath was dry.
