Full torso and arm tattoo coverage
Back · Colour · Photo
Four photographs show a person's torso and both arms covered in a bodysuit-style design, with the head cropped out of frame. The design combines a skull set within an omega symbol on the back, a large brown star shape on the front, and dense, flowing mechanical-looking patterns in green, teal and black ink. The shading is mostly solid colour with some black detailing and greyscale tones, against a plain white door background.

A story inspired by this tattoo · fiction
Sit closer, the lot of you, and mind the gull on the bench, he's had his eye on your crisps since you came down the steps. Now, the pipe-works at the top of Gantry Lane. You won't find it on any map since the fire, but my grandmother swept its floor, and she swore that Mr Ossian Tully kept a drawing pinned above his bench, a skull sat inside a great curled letter Ω, with pipes running out from it like the veins of a leaf.

He was a plumber for the lighthouse and had no business with drawings. Every winter the sea took a little more of the harbour wall, and every winter Tully wanted to lay green-glazed pipe under the stones to carry the water out past the breakwater. The council said no. So one night in February he took his brass rules and a tin of teal paint down to the quay and drew the whole network on the cobbles, a map in lines that bent the way the tide does, with a brown five-pointed star at the middle where the pipes met, the same colour as the rust on the bollards.
Come the spring tide, the water found those lines. It ran where he'd drawn them, down the old drains and out under the wall, and the chandlers' yards stayed dry for the first time in living memory. Nobody thanked him. The council sent a man with a clipboard to ask who had painted the quay, and Tully only said the pipes had always been there, if you knew how to look.
The lines are still on the stones, faded to grey, and gulls stand in the star at low tide as if they're waiting for a ferry. Mind your step on the way out.
