Lux in tenebris script on upper back
Fine line · Back · Black and grey · Photo
A person is photographed from behind, with light hair gathered into a loose bun and bare shoulders and upper back in view. A small, thin script tattoo reading lux in tenebris sits centrally between the shoulder blades. The linework is delicate and dark grey on a plain, pale background, with soft even lighting.

The station logs call it Lux in Tenebris, after the words cut above the door of the first beacon house, carved before the colony had a council or a name worth keeping. I have changed the cell. The beam is steady now, a thin white line laid across the sand. I am writing this by it, and I think you would laugh at how small it looks from here. Come back when the convoy runs in spring and bring the good solder. I will keep the lamp lit until you do.
