I have taken the dress form down to the scullery where the light is better and pinned the bodice to her shoulders the way you showed me, though she still leans like a tired old queen at a funeral. The spools in the cupboard are all mismatched now because the carter brought the teal silk from the eastern mills instead of the grey, and I cannot bring myself to waste it.
