Small camera tattoo on a wrist

Fine line · Forearm · Black and grey · Photo

A small camera is tattooed on the inner wrist, with a heart shape cut into the top of the body and a circular lens in the centre. The linework is clean and fine, with soft grey shading across the camera body and lens. The tattoo sits near the centre of the frame against a blurred background of glowing heart-shaped bokeh lights.

The last print was almost all darkness, spotted with pale hearts that glowed and blurred into one another, as if the photographer had shot a crowd of lanterns through a windscreen at night. Marisol held it under the lamp for a long time. Then she wrote the date on the back, slid the print into the bag with the camera, and taped a note to the counter with her mobile number, in case the owner came back for it.
