Cartoon Chewbacca on a forearm
Forearm · Mixed · Photo
A chibi-style cartoon Chewbacca stands front-facing with a scowling expression, a bandolier across the chest and stubby feet. The design uses bold black outlines, flat orange-brown fill and soft grey shading on the fur and belt. It sits on the outer forearm against a plain background with a patch of denim visible at the edge.

Nobody on the fourteenth floor of Gull Point had seen the wookiee come up the stairs, but everybody agreed he scowled like a man who had been kept waiting. He was short and broad as a dustbin, shaped like a child's drawing of a bear. He wore a bandolier of white cartridges across his chest, though no one had ever seen him fire anything, and his feet were stubby and flat, so the stair lamps flickered whenever he passed under them.

The trouble began when the Adeyemi boys took the bandolier. They were nine and eleven and reckoned a thing so fine must be worth something. They hid it in the rubbish chute, and the next morning every lift light in the block blinked orange and the buses on Mill Road would not stop for anyone. Mrs Pryce from flat twenty said the wookiee was only sulking, and a sulking creature could not be coaxed. It could only be given back what was his.
The boys climbed to the roof with the belt wrapped round both fists, their breath smoking in the wind off the car park. They found him on the water tank with his arms folded, glaring at the grey sky as though it owed him money. He said nothing. He only held out one hand, palm up, and waited.
The older boy laid the bandolier across that great flat palm. The wookiee turned it over, counted the cartridges with his thumb, and grunted. Below them, every lift light in Gull Point steadied and went green. The boys swore for years afterwards that he had smiled, though nobody who lived on the fourteenth floor ever believed them.
