Daisy flowers and vine on a foot

Fine line · Other · Colour · Photo

The photograph shows a bare foot with red painted toenails, seen from above at an angle. A tattoo runs diagonally across the top of the foot, featuring three daisy-style flowers in orange, pink and orange, linked by thin black vine linework with small dots. The flowers are filled with flat colour and the background is dark, with fairy lights visible at the right edge.

She pressed one between her thumb and the open ledger and sat down on the stool, and for the first time in a long while she wrote nothing at all.
