Galloping horse silhouette on the neck
Neck · Black and grey · Photo
A small, solid black silhouette of a horse in mid-gallop sits at the back of the neck, with its legs extended and tail flowing. The shape is filled with uniform black ink and has no shading or internal detail. The photo is taken from behind against a pale, softly lit background, with the skin tone and short dark hair framing the tattoo.

She came down off the hill at dusk, the way the wind comes, all legs and no sound. The guards on the north post swore she was a shadow thrown by the floodlight. By evening it was back, a little further along the wall, always heading east.
My uncle said that was the trick of it. A border is only a line for people who have to stop at it. Anything running fast enough goes straight through the paperwork, and the man in the glass box never even looks up from his tea.
