Maleficent portrait tattoo in purple and green

Other · Colour · Photo

A woman's face with pointed black horns and a dark hooded outline sits at the centre of the design, with pale green and purple smoke-like shading around it. The linework is bold and black, and the face is softly shaded in lilac and pink tones. The composition is symmetrical and fills the frame, with a sketched, watercolour-like wash fading out at the edges.

He fetched it from the cupboard under the stairs. It burned with a green flame that did not flicker. She thanked him, walked out into the dark with the smoke trailing behind her like a torn flag, and the glasses on the tray chimed one by one as she passed the door.
