Marvel characters full sleeve with Wolverine and Venom
Neo-trad · Upper arm · Colour · Photo
A full arm sleeve shows Wolverine in a yellow and blue costume leaping forward with claws extended, with Venom, Iron Man and Spider-Man tattooed in the lower sections. The linework is bold with smooth shading and strong highlights on the muscles and costumes. Rich, saturated colour dominates across three photographs of the same arm, set against a dark background.

The power went at half past four, the way it always did when the wind came off the top of the pass. Mrs Dunlop lit the paraffin lamps in the snug and counted her guests the way she counted spoons: two walkers stranded since Tuesday, a salesman from Inverness who had given up on the road, and the boy from the room above the bar, who had nothing to read but a battered comic he'd found under the piano.

He read it aloud to the salesman, who pretended not to listen. In it a scarred loner with claws came out of the woods in a yellow and blue suit, while a black thing with a grin full of teeth dropped from the cliffs, a red-and-gold man hovered overhead with his visor up, and a masked fellow swung between the rooftops cracking jokes. The boy said the claws were the best bit. "They're not real," said the salesman. "No," said the boy, "but they'd come in handy tonight."
Near midnight the snow stopped and the wind dropped, and the boy went to the window. Drifts had buried the bottom of the glass, and beyond them a line of tracks came up the hill from the valley, straight and deep, as though someone had walked it with great purpose and no hurry. Mrs Dunlop came up behind him with the lamp and said nobody sensible was out in this. The boy said he didn't think whoever it was had been very sensible.
At dawn the tracks ended at the back step. Beside them, pressed into the snow, were three long parallel marks, and on the kitchen sill someone had left the comic, folded open to the yellow figure mid-leap, with a single claw drawn in biro beside his fist. Mrs Dunlop read the page twice, put the kettle on, and didn't ask the boy where he'd been all night.
