Always script with Deathly Hallows and feather
Lettering · Forearm · Black and grey · Photo
The tattoo reads Always in flowing black script, with the Deathly Hallows triangle, circle and vertical line forming the first letter. A fine-lined feather sits beneath the word, angled to the left, with shaded quills and barbs. The ink is solid black on a light skin tone, photographed in an indoor setting with a white surface and dark floor in the background.

You left the spare key under the coal scuttle and a jar of blackberry jam on the sill, and I have eaten half of it out of spite. The clock you wound every Sunday stopped at ten past four in October. Come back when the ferry runs again in March. Bring the mismatched mugs and whatever excuse you have been polishing. If you cannot manage a proper hello, sign it the way you always did at the bottom of birthday cards, the one word I never once believed you meant less than the rest of the page. Nell
