Disney princesses sleeve tattoo on an upper arm
Neo-trad · Upper arm · Colour · Photo
The tattoo shows three Disney princess characters: Snow White holding a red apple at the top, Cinderella in a blue dress in the middle, and Jasmine in a teal top at the front, with a fourth figure partly visible at the right edge. The figures are drawn with bold outlines and smooth colour shading in blue, teal, red, yellow and skin tones, set within gold and grey scrollwork framing. The photo is taken from a side angle showing the upper arm and shoulder against a plain light background.

Sit down, sit, the fire's only a fire tonight and it won't tell you anything you don't already know. You want the road story? Then listen, because the road doesn't wait for people who fidget. Three girls walked out of three different towns, and the sand between them was the same sand. The first carried a red apple in her basket, polished till it shone like a bruise, because her stepmother's cousin had sworn it would keep her sweet. It did not keep her sweet. It kept her asleep for a whole winter, and the old men who came to look at her said she was the colour of milk and still wanted waking.

The second had lost a slipper of glass on the stairs of a house with too many doors, so she walked barefoot over the salt flats with one foot wrapped in a rag and the other lifted like a question mark. Men asked her to dance at every well between here and the coast. She told them the slipper would find its owner in its own time, and the wind agreed with her, which is more than the men ever managed.
The third came from the sand city with a blue-green jewel set in her headcloth and a silk sash the colour of the sea she'd never seen. She could talk to hawks, and she was the only one who had ever read the road signs properly. She met the other two at the crossroads by the dry well, where the water had gone sour years before anyone thought to ask why.
So they sat in the shade of that wall and passed the apple from hand to hand, taking one bite each, and the slipper went round the circle like a coin, and the sash got tied to whoever was cold. Nobody married a king that day. They talked until the sun slid off the stones, and then they walked on in three directions at once. That's why the road is never empty, friend. There are always three women sitting in some shade, passing a red apple between them, waiting for the traveller who comes along with the wrong shoe.
