Mandala heart and yin yang tattoos

Fine line · Ribs · Black and grey · Photo

Two black tattoos are shown on bare skin. A heart made of mandala and paisley-style motifs sits on the side of the torso, while a yin yang with intricate patterned linework fills one half of the circle on the upper arm. The thin, even outlines and fine dotted detail are set against soft, natural skin tones, with a hand holding up a shirt at the top left of the frame.

When she came home they walked up together in the last light of August. One half of the tree had gone ruddy and the other stayed pale as milk, and the fruit hung in a neat ring, like something drawn with a compass. Aled put a finger on the seam where the two grains met. "Half of you, half of me," he said, which was daft, and she laughed at him, which was the point.
