Matching infinity tattoos reading you and me
Fine line · Forearm · Black and grey · Photo
Two wrists are shown side by side, each with a single black infinity symbol outline. The words you and me are written in joined script, one on each side of the loop of the infinity sign. The linework is thin and even, the ink is solid black, and the photo is framed closely on the wrists against a plain, softly lit background.

Sol Varga had taped the ledger shut twice, and still the numbers leaked out at the corners. Nine wagons, four horses, and an elephant that had outlived its paperwork. The Halliday and Pell Travelling Circus had shrunk to a single tent pitched on the edge of a Carlisle car park, and the only act still drawing a crowd was the wire.

Nell and Dora Pell had walked that wire since they were six, one sister starting at each pole and meeting in the middle, where the cable crossed itself in a loop of tarred steel. Their father had painted the act's name in curling red letters on the side of the lead wagon: You and Me. The letters were peeling now, and the sisters had not spoken properly since the drive up from Penrith.
On the last night the wind came off the Solway and the canvas groaned like a ship. Nell climbed first, tested the cable with one foot, and felt Dora's weight settle on the far pole. They met at the crossing, where the wire bent into its figure of eight, and for a moment neither moved. Someone in the stands began to clap, then stopped, unsure whether this was part of the show.
Dora said, "Go on, then," and Nell said, "You first," and they walked the loop together, each keeping to her own side of the crossing, so the rope never once ran out. When they reached the poles again the tent was empty, and Sol stood at the entrance with the ledger under his arm, watching them as though they were the only thing left worth counting.
