Umbreon tattoo on a lower leg
Calf · Mixed · Photo
A black and grey cartoon-style Umbreon sits in a crouched, stretched pose with teal rings and yellow eyes. The shading is soft grey on the body, with flat teal accents on the rings and a small yellow detail on the eye. It is photographed outdoors on a lower leg against a light skin tone, with a sock edge and a hand at the edges of the frame.

A story inspired by this tattoo · fiction
Dilys had worked the night shift at Crossbrook halt for nineteen years and had never once seen the fox on the platform until the signal failed that Tuesday. It sat under the lamp by the footbridge, black as a coal sack, its tail curled round its feet, and the teal rings at its legs brightened and dimmed like a slow pulse.

She didn't shoo it. She fetched the flask from the staff room, poured tea into the lid and set it on the bench. The fox looked at her with eyes the colour of old brass, then leaned in and lapped at the steam. "You and me both," she said. Rain came sideways off the hills and the rails ticked as they cooled.
In the lost property drawer, beneath a dented tin of toffees, she found a ticket for the 23:14 to Shrewsbury, dated 1987, the winter her brother stopped writing from London. She had kept it for no good reason. She carried it out and held it up, and the rings flared bright as struck matches.
The fox stood, stretched long as a shadow and walked to the edge of the platform. It boarded nothing. When the milk train came grumbling round the bend at five, the lamp went out and the bench was empty except for the flask lid, still warm. Dilys folded the ticket into her coat pocket, went to meet the train, and for the first time in years she did not check her watch.
