Bachelorette party lettering on the wrist

Lettering · Forearm · Mixed · Photo

The image shows a hand raised towards the camera with a text design on the inner wrist and forearm. The lettering is set in three lines in red and dark ink, with the word Bachelorette in a flowing script, and two small pink and red lip prints placed between the lines. The background is a blurred pebble beach, and the warm lighting gives the skin a slightly flushed tone.

The girl who came to her stall on her own was dripping and holding a crumpled tenner like a ticket. "You haven't seen a bride, have you? Stephanie. Veil, tiara, Prosecco, wanders off on her own." Maureen shook her head and nudged the vinegar bottle across the counter. While the girl counted out coins, Maureen spotted a limp sheet tucked beneath the cockle tray. It was a spare transfer sheet printed with two small red lips and the words I belong with Stephanie's bachelorette party. If found please buy me a drink.

"That's ours," the girl said, not looking up. "Mags ordered forty. Nobody wears them. They go soggy the second they touch a bit of drizzle." Maureen peeled a corner from its backing, pressed it to the back of her own wrist, and held it up under the awning so the rain could have a good look at it. The lettering held. It was the only dry thing on the whole market.

At quarter to twelve a flustered woman in a tiara came splashing down the aisle shouting a name nobody was answering to. The girl saw her, groaned, and stood up. Maureen handed over a paper cup of tea, the last of her sugar in it. "Your mate's found, love," she said, and pointed. "Looks like she's owed a drink."
