Mickey and Minnie kissing on lower back

Back · Mixed · Photo

The tattoo shows Minnie Mouse in a red polka-dot bow and dress and Mickey Mouse in red shorts, leaning in to kiss with their eyes closed. The linework is clean and bold, with soft shading on the cheeks and ears and solid black fill on the ears. Red, yellow and black ink sit against lightly tanned skin, and the pair is centred on the lower back with a dark top at the edge of the frame.

They squabbled over everything. She said he chewed the banners, he said she hoarded the good cheese, and both accusations were true. Then the autumn storm took the east wall and half the granary with it, and the two of them ended up crammed into the same dry corner of the larder, with the cook's cat snoring on the far side of a sack of barley and no way out but the rubble.

Then she said she would sooner starve than admit it was good bread, and ate every crumb of it. He laughed so hard the candle stub between them tipped over, and in the dark she was already leaning in to see if he was hurt. Their noses met, and neither of them pulled away.

When the thaw came, the cook found the pair asleep against the barley sack, the candle burned down to nothing. The rest of the castle is still a ruin, but the mice of Greywater have never once let their larder go cold.
