Pokémon characters across two forearm tattoos
Neo-trad · Forearm · Colour · Photo
The left photo shows Pikachu above Squirtle with rising bubbles and leafy foliage on a forearm, and the right photo shows Charmander above Bulbasaur with a Poké Ball and a splash of water on another forearm. Both designs use bold outlines, smooth colour fills and soft shading in a cartoon-like, neo-traditional approach. The palette is bright yellow, orange, blue and green, and the characters are arranged to fill the length of each forearm.

A story inspired by this tattoo · fiction
When the last lord of Caddon Keep died, nobody came to bury him, so the ivy did it. By the time the valley folk thought to ask who kept the well, the courtyard was knee-deep in nettles and the great gate hung from one hinge. Four creatures had already moved in. An old grey cat said they were the keep's own, which was a story the cat told to keep its dinner.

The yellow one slept in the gatehouse with its lightning-shaped tail poking out through the arrow slit, and it sparked when it dreamed. The blue turtle hauled its shell up the stairs each morning and blew bubbles at the sheep until they stopped bleating. The orange one lived in the dry bread oven and kept the flame on its tail burning so the stones stayed warm. The green one, with a bud on its back like a cabbage, crept along the cracks and wound its roots round loose masonry so nothing else fell.
One wet spring a red and white ball came rolling down from the hills, and a shepherd's boy named Tam Greaves chased it to the gate. He wanted his ball back, and he wanted to know why a ruin full of nettles had a well that never ran dry. The turtle told him the well was a promise. The yellow one told him it was a joke. The orange one simply lit its tail so he could see his own face in the water. Tam went home, and came back every summer with a sack of seed.
Years later the gate was gone and the keep was a green hump on the hill. Tam's grandchildren still walked up with bread. In the chapel window, where the glass had fallen out, the bud-backed creature had grown wide and sweet with blossom, and the blue turtle sat in the spray of the well, waiting for somebody to ask for a drink before they said their business.
