Infinity symbol tattoo designs with words
Lettering · Black and grey · Flash
A white background sheet showing six infinity symbol tattoo designs in black ink. Four designs combine the symbol with words in script or block lettering, including family, sister, always and dream, while two use longer phrases in mixed capitals and lowercase. Some designs add small bird silhouettes flying over the loop, and the linework ranges from bold strokes to fine, even lines.

Dear Denise,

You will say I am being soppy, but I have not stopped thinking about the hall since the reunion. Mr Harker still had the place smelling of floor polish and cheap wine, and when Carol read out the names of the ones we had lost, I looked up and you were already looking at me. Thirty-one years and we still do that.
Do you remember the far end of the playing field, where the fence sagged and the swifts dropped low over the hockey pitch every June evening? We lay in the nettles counting them. You said if you counted far enough they would loop round and come back to where they started, and I said that was daft, so you drew a figure of eight in the dirt with your trainer to prove it. We wrote ALWAYS on the inside cover of the register you had nicked from the office, and I think we both meant it for about a fortnight.
On Saturday you had the swifts sketched on the back of a menu card, the loop drawn round them the way we used to draw it in the dirt. You asked if I was happy, and I gave you the flat voice I keep for the dentist. You did not believe me, and you were right. I have been trying to work out what I would tell those girls in the nettles if they asked. Probably that counting is the good part, and you never get to the end.
I have enclosed the register page. The swifts are back over the pitch, so I went out after tea and counted them, and somewhere past forty I lost the thread, which I suppose is the point. Come and lose it with me in June. Bring your pencil.
Love, Maureen
