Realism · Shoulder · Mixed · Photo
A close photograph of a realistic tattoo on the shoulder, showing a detailed open eye with long lashes above and a cluster of feathers below. The eye has a vivid green iris, while the lashes, lids and feathers are rendered in soft black and grey shading. The tight crop centres the eye across the shoulder against a dark textured top.

By the end of the watch the squall had rolled away to the north. Jem read the log aloud by lantern light and wrote, in his careful capitals, "Wind steady. One feather returned."
