Hello Kitty stormtrooper on forearm
Forearm · Mixed · Photo
The tattoo shows a cartoon Hello Kitty character merged with a stormtrooper helmet and chest armour, with a red bow at the top of the head. It uses bold black outlines with flat fills, including black visor and chest details. Red is used for the bow and small accents, while the rest of the design is black and light skin tone, set against a dark red plaid fabric background.

Sit down, the lot of you, and keep your hands off that lamp. You want the tale of the cat with the ribbon? Two winters back the Mary Lessing was crossing the Western Ocean with a hold full of tinned peaches and a crew of nine who'd stopped speaking to each other after Madeira. Then a white cat came aboard at Cardiff with a red bow the size of a saucer tied to one ear, and she never once asked anybody's permission.

Nobody owned her. She slept on the coal sacks and stole the cook's kippers when he wasn't looking. Then the bosun, a man named Harrow who kept his brass polished and his temper sharp, opened the fancy dress trunk looking for a lifebelt and found the white suit from the harbour pantomime, helmet and all. The visor was painted black. The chest plate had six little square buttons. The cat sniffed it once, climbed straight inside, and the helmet slid down over her ears as if it had been measured for her.
After that she marched. Up the ladders, along the rail, back and forth outside the galley with the bow bobbing above the visor. The men swore she was a ghost. Harrow swore she was mutinying. Then the gale came up off the Plate, the helmsman went below with a broken wrist, and when the wheel began to spin the mate found the cat already standing at it, visor down, paws braced, holding the ship on her course for six hours without once looking round.
We made Montevideo on the seventh morning. She walked down the gangplank in her armour with the bow still on, turned at the bottom to look back at us, and the boy who'd spent the whole voyage trying to catch her swears she saluted. Harrow still has the buttons. I still have the peaches. Mind your step on the way out.
