Matching Snoopy and Woodstock wrist tattoos
Fine line · Forearm · Mixed · Photo
Two people show matching tattoos of the Peanuts characters Snoopy and Woodstock, one on each inner wrist, with Woodstock holding a red heart on the left and Snoopy leaning in to the heart on the right. The outlines are thin, dark and even, with only the heart filled in solid red. The photograph is taken from above and centred on the two wrists, with the palms and fingertips with pink nails visible at the bottom of the frame.

Every evening the bird came down the cobbled hill of Scarrow Quay with a red balloon tied to a thread around one foot, and every evening the dog on the roof of the chandler's kennel pretended not to see him. The dog was called Pim, and he had one black ear that flopped over his eye when he sulked, which was often. The bird was called Tuppence. He had three black hairs standing up from his head like a question, and he had never once in his life managed to land anywhere he meant to.

The harbourmaster's wife said the balloon had come off a fair stall at Michaelmas, and nobody believed her, because the balloon never seemed to run out of air and never went soft in the sea wind. Tuppence carried it up the hill each night and held it out at arm's length, and Pim leaned over the edge of the roof until his chin nearly touched the string, and the gulls made a great fuss about it.
On the night of the big storm the lamp at the top of the quay blew out, and the boats came in by feel. Tuppence was still on the hill with his balloon. Pim did not sulk. He slid down the drainpipe, crossed the slick cobbles on his old legs, and held the string between his teeth until the bird's feet found the ground beside him. Neither of them said anything about it afterwards. The balloon is still tied to the chandler's sign, and the paint on the sign has gone the colour of old brick, but the red has not faded at all.
