Pizza slice temporary tattoo designs
Colour · Flash
Four pizza slice designs are printed on separate white paper backings and fanned out, with the top one fully visible. Each slice has black outlines, a yellow cheese area, pepperoni circles in red with white dots, and black olive shapes, with a red sauce band along the crust. The bright colours stand out against the plain pink background, and a fingertip with red nail polish holds the stack at the left.

Her brother Lenny wanted them on the stall at Hebden Bridge on Saturday regardless. He had already stuck a price card to the awning. "Nobody will notice," he said, stacking the sheets with his thumb. "Everybody notices olives," she said, and took them back out of the pile.
On Saturday a girl of about nine stopped at the table with a Thermos cup full of coins. She bought the whole fan of four, counted the change twice, and asked why one pepperoni had white dots. Denise said they were the shine off the cheese. The girl shook her head. They were stars, she said, and Denise had no answer that didn't sound invented on the spot, so she just nodded and handed over the stickers.
That night Denise found the rejected slice stuck to her own fridge door with a lemon-shaped magnet, its olives pointing the wrong way. Lenny must have slipped it into her coat. She left it where it was and turned off the light, and in the morning it was still there, the crooked olives catching the grey window light like something she had meant to do all along.
